What must it be like
the pain of Jesus
when we walk away
turning our lives from him
Knowing the pain
the humiliation
climbing the rugged cross
becoming the sacrifice
When we turn
like the rich man
unwilling to go
when Christ calls our name
When we reject
his call to follow
when we cleave to the world
and embrace our brokenness
