Feeding Words to Inflame

So much of our discourse
the dialogue in the world
meant to divide, to hurt
feeding words to inflame

We must reject this path
remembering the source of our faith
the way of the cross,
chosen by Christ
the way, the truth, the life

We must use words that heal
that show the outpouring of love
shining light into the darkness
to the ends of the earth
