It is Joy that we carry

The light of Jesus
the message of love
it is Joy that we carry
salvation from above

Christ with us
indwelling still
guiding our feet
the path of our lives

We must sing
sharing the message
hope for our lives
in the way of the cross

Bearing God’s light
all of us lanterns
carrying this joy
to the ends of the earth
