The sacrifice of Christ
the sentient being
a free will offering
given on our behalf
Choosing to die
taking the cup
drinking of our sin
becoming the sacrifice
Donning the fleece
the unblemished lamb
taking on our stain
our lives in his hand
Giving himself
that we may live again
hope in him alone
in the blood of the lamb
