With Them in the Trials

Alone in the fire
with them in the trials
choosing to be the sacrifice
that we may live

The workers in the power plant
so much like Jesus
willing to suffer, to die
that we may live anew

Suffering, sacrificing
willing to meet our maker
giving their all for those
who we pray will live in safety
