Pain not the end
the culmination of our living
the pit alone, the grave
nothing more than this
No there is more,
far more, because of Jesus
because of his sacrifice
we may climb the ladder
ascending to heaven
at the end of our days
From death to resurrection
a mansion in glory
walking the street of gold
drinking living waters
Rising with him
our brother, our Savior
the lamb upon the throne
in the courts of the Lord

“Michelle and I join with millions of Christians
here and across the world to mark Ash Wednesday.
As we observe the season of Lent, we receive
with thanksgiving this opportunity for grace and repentance,
recommit ourselves to our faith, and
remember our obligations to one another.”
