Knowing God has been with me

Only in hindsight
after believing
knowing God has been with me
looking at my history
There when I denied him
when I sinned
leading me back to him
so that I might begin
the journey I have been on
since I believed
giving in to his calling
what I am to be
knowing he is with me
because of his promise
his presence in my life
with me always
