The Sacrifice of God

The sacrifice of God
in giving us His Son
in letting Him die
to take on our sin
What more could God give
than His only Son
the Priest, the Lamb
paying our cost
on the altar of the cross
The divine becoming flesh
showing us love
feeling pain, death
rising, that we may live
