Joseph and Mary’s Son

All they could see
what they could believe
the fact before them
not willing to break free

All Christ was
Joseph and Mary’s son
the carpenter, the neighbor
certainly not God

Unable to break free
to see with God’s sight
the revelations, the miracles
scales before their eyes
