Why They Stayed – v2

Why they stayed
why they followed
when others
turned away

Somehow knowing
chosen for this purpose
learning from Christ
truth from heaven

Only these few
truly faithful
somehow knowing
the power of this love

We too called
by the same Savior
to believe in God
to believe in his Son

To follow our Master
to be disciples
salt of the earth
carrying His light to the world
