Do you not have ears
have you not read the signs
how many times must I tell you
I am the Son of God
What must Christ have felt
standing before the leaders
the people of the covenant
failing to believe his teachings
How sad must he have been
the death they all would face
choosing not to turn from the world
denying the gift of God’s grace
