Watching them there
seated in judgment
eyes listening, caring
seeking to hear their hearts
a human face
on the scales of justice
eyes open, watching
to truly hear their story
Not rushing to judgment
no easy answers
thinking about the children
the ones in the middle
there for them
those needing protection
balancing truths
when they are in conflict
A human face
on the scales of justice
seeking the right path
within the maelstrom
