Through the Gates – v2

by water, by blood,
by giving himself
gates, of his life, of his death
by the water dying
rising to walk the earth
to serve our neighbor
to teach us about God

by blood, by his body
the way of the cross
the gate of victory
atoning for our sin
freed from the grave
when Christ climbed the tree
that we would not be lost
