Covered by blood
He is the lamb
sacrificed on the altar
the cross, bloodied
yet not bowed
Covered by blood
our sin, the cup
poured out, drunk
the bitterness
spittle of the mockers
a crown of thorns
accepted for me
covered by blood
my living Savior
come to save us
