Both in our baptism
both needed for life
dying in the water
rising up from the depths
born into new life
yet not the water
but the fire
which gives us wings
going with us ever
filling our lungs, our lives
our passion for salvation
the fire of the Spirit
indwelling within
showing us heaven
the journey of the cross
guiding us ever
in the way to paradise
carrying the light within us
healed through the fire
going on before us
to the place above
going on to heaven
wrapped in God’s great love
