it is a beginning

We think of death as the end
but Christ showed us different
death is but the beginning
but of more than a chapter
through the gate of the cross
through the gate of paradise
unbound by a human sense of time
with God for eternity
So, a beginning, the gate of death
but to a time without age
walking in the garden
in the cool of the night
with our Savior, our God
