community develops

a bond is created, nurtured
fed and watered, tended
community develops
in relationship
sometimes in silence
in being there to listen
sometimes in lifting
in supporting our neighbors
but always together
serving as a body
sharing what we have been given
to raise up the family
all of us together
building up the kingdom
a community develops
when we share in mission
the work of Jesus
our Savior and our brother
always, forever
until the end of time
