Choosing demons – v2

hearing words

of prophecy, of power

of choices we make

to change our lives

choosing demons

the familiar, what they know

addictions that bind them

words, words, heard

but what are our actions

the truth in them

choosing demons

when we could have freedom

the power to change

but we fall back, complacent,

giving in to demons

as has always been
