Even in their
accusations
failing to
understand
his language,
parables
more than they
could stand
God’s temple,
living, before them
the temple of
Christ himself
that which would
be torn down
raised up in but
three days
Speaking to the
powerful
in words to them
opaque
these who should
know the Christ
because they
taught the law
His life a
witness, a testimony
the proof of his
holiness
but to them only a
threat
blind to the
living God
judgment, the
cross, instead
