In this story of Christ
the disciples afraid
his power displayed
calming the storm with a
word
the Word of scripture
God’s commandments
wisdom of the Psalms
Our frenzied lives
a choice, in not believing
in taking on ourselves
The trials of life
Rest in the Lord
remembering the Sabbath
The Creator of all
the Spirit within us
calming your spirit
wanting you at peace
