God’s Spirit fell from the
stained glass
shattering that barrier
the invisible divide
our attempt to wall God out
to put God in a box
She saw a vision clearly
speaking words of
recognition
craning our heads to see
a palpable gasp fell upon us
sitting in the presence of
God
Bodily present with us
the dove descended, seated
sharing the pew with them
here in the sanctuary
beside our sisters, abiding
with us
