Something simple
after each school day
the girls asking
for something to drink
but picky in their options
So many choices
what I can offer them
waters aplenty
in different disguises
Something to drink
nothing we think of
of those who are without
all around the world
We need to be quiet
to pause in your lives
to think of so many others
struggling each day
just for something to drink
