Standing in this
crowd
a sea of people
with our
neighbors
looking at the
faces
fear, yet
resolved
Standing for
justice
yearning for
compassion
calling out for
change
loving our
neighbors
seeking a better
way
To solve the
challenges
the choices
before us
hope in our
future
standing
together
together, in
community
Lifting up our
neighbors
those who need
us
for civic
compassion
the State alone
able
to meet their
urgent needs
Coming together
divergent
communities
all of us together
speaking with
one voice
that our
neighbors may be free
All of us
deserving
dignity,
opportunity
our basic needs
met
to live together
in peace and
harmony
None left behind
all deserving
all lifted up
help when they
need it
hope for all of
us.
