A visible texture
not needing to touch them
seeing the softness
their beauty this morning
The wet apple blossoms
blanketing the street
the grass covered
white by their feet
Talcum powder petals
like cool paper between my
fingers
soft, light, yet laden
with water from the street
Soft within my fingers
a unique texture
as if dry, covered in
powder,
though they were drenched
