standing in the boat
while Jesus
was with them
not at
peace, calm
mirroring
the storm
captured by
the waves
the roar of
the wind around them
buffeted,
tossed about
frightened
by a storm
not
trusting in Jesus
needing to
wake him
for proof
of his power
needing him
to calm
the waters,
the storm
still
confused, arguing
the nature
of Jesus
powerful
enough
to calm the
storm
to still
the rolling sea
