the towel
of the servant,
a symbol of
Christ,
the mantle
we wear
our yoke in
this life
service our
calling,
even to
those who hurt us,
loving as
Christ loves
as He loves
us
the towel
of the servant,
the rugged
cross,
service and
sacrifice
the measure
of His life
a life
lesson in this moment,
in the dust
on that towel,
the road we
must travel
what we
will face
sharing love
and mercy,
compassion
complete,
dying on
our cross
washing
Judas’ feet.
