towel
a symbol of
Christ
the mantle
we wear
the yoke in
life
service our
calling
even to
those who hurt us
loving as
Christ loves
as He loves
us
that dirty
towel
the rugged
cross
service and
sacrifice
the measure
of a life
a life
lesson
in the dust
on that towel
the road we
will travel
what we
will face
love, mercy
compassion
complete
dying on
our cross
washing
Judas’ feet.
