I
can relate, I probably have
this
situation, open wounds
masking
as scar tissue;
it
may seem obvious
the
way of our flesh
the
wounds open, oozing,
the
scars as smooth as glass;
but
within our spirits
though
forgiveness
may
have left our lips
forgiveness
may have been spoken
we
may have repented of the past;
but
the wound still may be open.
We
must all ask,
in
our prayers, in the quiet,
is
it a wound or a scar?
We
will only know in the connection
when
the rubber hits the road
and
we see the “guilty” party.
