we
complain about our scars
the
bags under our eyes
the
wrinkles, the crows feet
the
white hairs only our heads
the
things we carry
in
this journey of faith
but
we should remember
that
the dead don’t have scars
their
bodies have left them
the
scars we carry to remind us in life
of
the blessing of healing
from
the one who knows us
God’s
healing to the living
while
we walk the earth.
