Clay within the Granite – v2

A stirring within me
not happy on this path
Feeling myself wanting
yearning to be clay
to be more giving
clay within the granite
the reserve, the pause
the outer shell, the façade
the mask I know so well
wanting to be more giving
giving of myself
more abandon, freedom,
wanting to shout
to move with the Spirit
clay, wanting to get out.
