We don’t seek to change them

we don’t seek to change them
our loved ones who are in pain
we seek for your blessing
to make them whole again
we pray for our sisters,
our brothers battling with demons
within the grip of addictions
for many counted in years
we don’t seek to change them
they need to want assistance
we ask for your goodness
to wash over each of them
you, Lord, know what is needed
in each situation, in each person
we ask for your blessings
on each of your children
those struggling today
