Like masks of clay only
differences between us, on
the surface
false grounds to claim
another unworthy
when we all carry our sin
Only when we come to Jesus
when we accept His saving
grace
only then are we worthy
to come before our God
Working in the vineyards
in the fields of the Savior
our humbly response only
to the grace given by God
Nothing we can do to earn
heaven
to life in eternity
all of us like our neighbor
needing Christ to be
restored

Matthew 20:1-16
sermon, "Grumbling about Grace"
by Rev. Frank Gulinello
“Jesus’ parable of the laborers in the vineyard is about
a gracious God whose grace is extraordinarily and
excessively extravagant.
Sometimes the
amazing grace of God causes us to grumble because
it seems to be unjust and not fair in our view of the way
life should be.”
