my cracks evident – v2

a broken vessel

my body damaged

my spirit weighed down

by many tears

only by Jesus

able to hold water

my vessel empty

made worthy

my scars visible

cracks in my vessel

water would be leaking

but for Jesus

filling the gaps

the sins forgiven

the scars remaining

but I am redeemed
