we walk alone

for too many of us

there is truth

in the phrase

we walk alone

oh God is with us

the Spirit within

abiding, living

under our skin

but we walk alone

not seeking others

to strengthen, to encourage

our daily walk

how much richer

the journey together

when we share our faith

out in the world.
