healing wounds

healing wounds

I have created

lashing out

from the dark

wanting to mend

the broken fences

but needing God

to heal their hearts

healing wounds

I have ripped open

hope in God

for His grace

praying they will forgive

my words of protest

that healing will come

in this time and place
