Doing Justice – v8

Our lives, measured by our actions
by our works, our dealings
with our fellow man,
with our neighbors, even the others,
the stranger, our enemies,
did we do justice in our time
did we lift up our neighbors
have we done all we can

Were those hungry fed,
those thirsty given drink
did we fight to make all people equal
all around the world, helping,
did we set the captives free
of their chains, their burdens
whether we welcomed a stranger
and offered clothes to those in need

Our lives measured by our faith
our faith lived out in our lives
how we care for our neighbors
all our neighbors, wherever we may go
all our brothers, our sisters
helping them, all those in need
all around the globe
