In a moment of panic

in a moment of panic

the words she spoke to me

the first to know this secret

this burden she carried

never before uttered out load

in a moment of panic, frozen,

needing to offer comfort

to stand with her

as her pain was exposed

bringing You to her

praying over her

being there to comfort

to assuage, to soften, her pain.
