the
same as the others
in
the season of feeding
spring
and summer months of life
taking
in nutrients
living,
growing
drinking
in the water
the
living word
growing,
growing
into
the light
toward
the harvest
shining
after
the
seasons changing
in
the dying
their
time ending
sharing
with others
their
gifts, talents,
sharing
their fruits
their
true colors
with
our loving God

-
green
maple leaf and a colored maple leaf
-
the
green color of the leaves is not the true color
-
this
is the color we have when we are being fed
-
nurtured
in the spring and summer with the Word;
-
we
shine our true colors in autumn
-
sharing
our true color with God and the world
-
staying
close to God
-
each
an individual
-
shining
the colors of Christ
