What should we tell them – v3

sorry, nothing more for you

our country all that, just a dream,

should we lie, deceive them

should we tell them we are special

that we are the only nation free

as is that is all there is to greatness

should we tell them it will be better

that better days are ahead

the cost of the fallacy, the lie,

that America is on the rise

that we are on the cutting edge

the leader worldwide

that we are caring for our people

that greed is in check

and compassion is afoot

what should we tell them

the children, the younger generation

the dream a lie before them

America is in decline
