on wings of resplendent color – v2

on gossamer breezes

rising from the branches

on wings of resplendent color

rising to the heavens

to life unfettered

in the freedom of Christ

wanting our children

those whom we cherish

to grow from earth-bound caterpillars

to rise to the arms of God

to fly up to heaven

at the end of this walk
