Our life, in judgment
in the balance of God’s
justice
not by human standards
but the measure of Christ
our Shepherd, our Savior
Lord over all, Messiah
by how we loved one another
as He loved all of us
Our lives, not by our words,
intentions
measured by our actions
how we lived our lives;
did we do justice in our
time
were those hungry fed,
those thirsty given drink
whether we welcomed a
stranger
and offered clothes to those
in need
Our lives measured by our
faith
not by our words, intentions
by our faith lived out in
our lives
how we care for our
neighbors
all our neighbors, wherever
we may go
no one truly a stranger
all our brothers, our
sisters
helping them, all those in
need
