Shards of
God’s love
shining in
each beating heart
a seed of
heaven planted,
within the
clay of each one
Needing to be
tended
to be fed with
your love
God’s breath
giving us life
all of us
connected
to our Creator,
to all eternity
If we could
but see
that light in
our neighbors
how different
would the world
would all life
be for God’s creation
As to the
least of these
the Savior
will say in the gathering
bringing the
sheep in, together
to the gates
of heaven
How many more
would be
gathered in
if the words
of the judgment
were
understood by man
A hint of
divine truth
the
connectedness of creation
the Creator in
each beating heart
in the face of
each stranger
