A horn of salvation
oil of Samuel, of God
Poured upon David
consecrating his life.
A horn of salvation
a promise given to him
His family would rule
on God’s holy throne.
A horn of salvation
out of the root of Jesse
New life coming,
ordained,
a descendant of David.
A horn of salvation
just as God promised
Hope for our future
in the One who had come.
