an illusion of freedom – v4

Barabbas seeking rebellion
to overthrow the Romans
by force, by the works of man
an illusion of freedom
when Pilate set him free
but he was still a prisoner

Christ was the true freedom
His life to atone for us
paying the price for us
squaring the ledgers
God’s judgment on us
making us right before God
