The Crowd Walks Away – v5

Needing to remember
the story of Mary
accused, before Jesus
about to be punished
lying at his feet

They dropped their stones
remembering their sin
none claiming the right
to cast the first stone

All of them guilty
feet made of clay
none of them standing
in judgment of their sister
the crowd walked away.
