May I start by speaking love – v3

May I be the stone, the pebble,
the rock thrown into the water, the ocean;
Sending out ripples, building,
to become a great wave

May I not wait for others, anyone,
for an apology from those who hurt us;
Seeking to follow Christ’s command
to love as He loved (and loves) us

May I heed the calling of the Spirit
the command of Jesus;
May I start be speaking love
forgiveness for my neighbor

May I be the stone, the pebble,
the rock thrown into the water, the ocean;
Sending out ripples, building,
to become a great wave

Today my prayers are many, but the one that weighs heaviest on my heart is that our Heavenly Father guide our hearts to speak with love, mercy and compassion and not with venom, poison, and hate. Amen.
