Aching for this level of connection
for that gift of intimacy, of touch
to rest in our Savior, in Christ
to recline at His feet, in His arms;
Lingering in His presence
touching the face of God
To lounge in His love, in His arms,
to lean upon Jesus, our pillow, our love
Listening, within this peace, this rest,
nestled in His arms, in Christ
so we can hear His heartbeat
to be this close to Jesus;
For Him to call us friend
for Him to be the bridegroom, our love,
Our prayer as we enter in
our prayer without end.
