I need to
remember
the story of Mary
kneeling, accused,
before Jesus, at
His feet
about to be
punished
They dropped
their stones
remembering their
own sin
none claiming the
right
to cast the first
stone
All of them
guilty
with feet made of
clay
none of them
standing
in judgment, any
longer,
the crowd walked
away
