I
could hardly believe it
but
it is so typical;
Two
kinds of healthcare
the
haves and have nots
He
was released, discharged
before
he was ready;
Caught
in the cracks
the
gaps in the system
He
was sent home with questions
an
incomplete diagnosis;
Pushed
to the curb
for
a lack of insurance
Now
comes working
the
clock still ticking;
Hoping
there won’t be a crisis
during
the holidays
