a demagogue and a bully – v2

a demagogue and a bully

stoking the fires within us,

riding the waves of anger

to pander to their prejudice

Sowing seeds imprudent

fanning the flames of hatred,

creating a wedge, taking advantage

of division within our nation

Hoping to catch the wave

of the fomented revolution,

seeking only to splinter

the fabric of our nation

Casting pearls before swine

to milk the bitter harvest,

a demagogue and a bully

spewing a pack of lies
